Yolam (Briam)
Yolam lives in a village, Nairika East, near Naigobya. Yolam was in 5th Grade when he had to drop out of school after losing his father to HIV/AIDS in 2017. His mother couldn’t take care of Yolam and handed him over to his grandfather, Kyalibuza Robert. His grandpa, a farmer, is elderly and cannot support his big family anymore. They live below the poverty line. Yolam doesn’t have any basic necessities including a mattress, shoes, clothes, books. Yolam’s family is Christian.
