Colini lives near Naigobya with his mother Harriet. His father died years ago in a bad motorcycle accident. His father’s death put Colini’s family under a hard financial strain jeopardizing his schooling as well. Colini lacks most of the basic needs including shoes, books, and a decent place to sleep. The family is in dire need of almost everything. The only source of income is farming which doesn’t bring much, but does help make ends meet. They have recently experienced crop failure followed by famine. The family is Christian and go to church regularly.
