Christine is from a family of 6 children, and four of them (including Christine) have albinism. The family mostly does small scale farming and gardening to make a meager living. The family loves each other, including their albino children, very much. That in itself is a huge blessing because in Uganda, many albino children are abandoned because they are believed to be cursed. Thankfully Christine's family does not think that way. But they are struggling to provide for the children to both eat and go to school, and in fact will not be able to, without some support. Her family is Catholic and regularly attends church. They also learn about Jesus by coming to Saturday club, run by our ECM staff. Two of Christine's siblings are also in the sponsorship program.
