In a small town in Uganda, children who were once hidden in shame now sing with joy. Families once burdened by fear now walk with hope. Churches that once struggled for unity now rise in strength. That town is Tororo, and it is a living testimony of what happens when the Gospel takes root in a community.
When ECM first began serving in Tororo, our focus was simple: care for children with albinism who faced medical risks and deep rejection. What began as a small outreach is growing into a flourishing center of healing, education, and spiritual growth. Tororo's journey is not finished. But today more and more families are thriving. More children are attending school. More pastors are leading with vision.
What About the Next Tororo?
Right now, hundreds of communities across Africa still wait for hope. Children still suffer from preventable illness and lack of education. Families long for stability. Churches seek guidance. Entire communities feel forgotten.
And without support, many of these places will remain stuck — trapped in poverty, fractured by shame, and distant from the life God desires for them.
The Goal: 100 Communities. 10 Years. 1 Gospel.
At ECM, we believe in lasting transformation. That’s why we’ve launched our 100-10-1 Goal:
100 African communities reached in 10 years with 1 unchanging Gospel.
Some of these communities will be supported through donations. Others will walk in long-term relationship with churches here in the U.S. through ECM’s Community Connection initiative.
