Shadia lives with her parents, an older step-sister, an older step-brother, a younger sister, and a younger adopted sister with special needs. Upon hearing about this family who had taken in a little girl with special needs after they already struggled to feed their other children, our staff member knew that ECM needed to step in an provide whatever help we could for this family. Shadia is deaf and has many needs of her own. She is cheerful but very shy.
