Rita is considered a “half orphan”—her father died in a bad motorcycle accident in 2016. She still attends school but her mother Harriet cannot pay school fees anymore and Rita may need to quit school because of that. Rita is a very sweet girl. She is a very good student but unfortunately, due to their dire financial situation, she lacks most of the basic needs like shoes, clothes, a mattress, and school books. Rita’s family is Christian.
