Joshua lives in a one room rented house with his single mother and three siblings. They all sleep on the same bed with very little bedding. The mother really struggles to provide for the children's basic needs. The father left them several years ago. He just disappeared with no communication ever since, and no one knows where he is. Joshua's mother sometimes washes neighbor's clothes or digs in their garden for a little bit of moeny or food. She has not been able to send her children to school since it's all she can do to scrape together enough food to sustain them. Joshua needs hope, and needs to know that he has a Heavenly Father that loves him, even though his earthly father ran away.
