Shafik
Shafik's parents divorced when he was a year old and he now lives with his mother, step-father, and siblings. He has three step-sisters and an adopted sister with special needs. Upon hearing about this family who had taken in a little girl with special needs after they already struggled to feed their other children, our staff member knew that ECM needed to step in an provide whatever help we could for this family. Our staff member described Shafik as a cheerful boy. He enjoys playing football (soccer) and drumming and one day hopes to become a pilot.
