Patricia lives with her mother Susan and her father Samuel. She has three brothers and two sisters. Her father drinks too much and does not take care of his family. They farm beans and potatoes to eat. Patricia struggles with bouts of malaria but attends school and enjoys learning very much. She loves to study and help around the house.
