Isaac was 5 years old when he was enrolled in ECM's sponsorship program. He had recently come with his mother and two siblings to Accra to pursue employment and a higher quality of life. Sadly, his father abandoned the family and refused to take responsibility to help provide for them. Soon, Isaac, is mother and his siblings ended up on the streets, living near the railway station where they sold ice water and begged for a living. His siblings were nearly killed by moving vehicles. Isaac had not had any education until he was enrolled in school, provided for by three sponsors through ECM. They supported him through primary and secondary school, and now he has grown into a healthy, smart young man.

Isaac was a pleasant, servant-hearted young man growing up at the home! He often helped lead devotional time with all the children. He was the captain of the boys’ foot ball (what Americans call soccer) team, and was very good at it!

Now he is in his third year of studying electrical control systems at Accra Technical University. Once he graduates after his fourth year, he will be required to complete one year of national service. From there, he will gain employment and be able to support himself. He currently has two sponsors, and needs one or two more sponsors to fully cover his educational costs in these last few years of being in the program. Could you be one of those people?
