Hadijjah was born and grew up in Kyengera, one of the suburbs in Kampala under the care of her father. Her parents separated when she was 5 years old. The father was a terrible drunkard and her mother could not stand living with a man who was like that. So she decided to run away and left two children, Hadijjah and her brother under the care of their father. However, Hadijjah and her brother started suffering because their father could no longer take responsibility of them and decided to abandon them. As they were suffering, a foster family came in and took Hadijja and her brother into their home and cared for them. But they were not put in school because the foster father could not pay the school fees and provide all the necessary school materials. By the grace of God, ECM found out about Hadijjah’s situation and she was enrolled in the education sponsorship program and started going to school. Unfortunately, now her foster father is not well because he got in a bad accident which almost killed him. He survived, but he is now incapacitated and cannot provide for the family at all. Hadijjah has one sponsor, but needs one more to be fully covered with school fees and meals. Would you prayerfully consider supporting her so that she can start thriving?
